https://rap.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/rap/article/view/85
<p>The purpose of the research is to analyze the influence of toxic online disinhibition on hate speech behavior and to test self-control as a moderator in the influence of toxic online disinhibition on hate speech behavior among Generation Z social media users, using a quantitative approach with SEM-PLS analysis and collecting data from 215 Generation Z respondents. The sampling method used is purposive sampling. The research instrument uses a hate speech scale with a Cronbach alpha of 0.923, a toxic online disinhibition scale with a Cronbach alpha of 0.820, and a self-control scale with a Cronbach alpha of 0.81. The results of this study indicate a positive and significant influence of toxic online disinhibition on hate speech behavior with a significance value of 0.000 (p-value <0.05). The higher the level of disinhibition of individuals on social media, the greater the tendency for individuals to express aggressive communication such as insults, provocation, or hate speech on social media. Furthermore, self-control has also been proven to play a moderating role in the influence of toxic online disinhibition on hate speech, with a significance value of 0.036 (p-value <0.05) with an R2 contribution of 0.45 (45%). This study found that high self-control actually strengthens the influence of toxic online disinhibition and hate speech. The study results contribute to understanding that self-control does not always function as a deterrent to aggressive behavior on social media.</p>

<p><em>This study aims to understand the process of self-acceptance in individuals with stuttering and the factors that influence this process. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving two participants with stuttering who were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and were subsequently analyzed using thematic analysis. The results indicate that self-acceptance in individuals with stuttering develops through several key themes: awareness of one’s condition, negative emotional responses, experiences of social stigma, social support, and positive self-perception. Both participants experienced feelings of shame, low self-esteem, and anxiety stemming from being mocked and laughed at during social interactions. However, support from family and the immediate environment helped the participants build self-confidence and reduce self-rejection. This study also found that the process of self-acceptance is dynamic and not always linear. Ultimately, both participants began to view their stuttering as an acceptable part of themselves that could be interpreted more positively. The conclusion is that the self-acceptance process in individuals with stuttering disabilities occurs gradually, dynamically, and is influenced by various internal and external factors.</em></p>

https://rap.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/rap/article/view/75
<div>Independent toilet skills are basic skills that must be mastered by every child, including children with autism spectrum (ASD). This skill begins with toilet training. However, toilet training for ASD children is a challenge in itself. Children with ASD have developmental disorders that impact many aspects of their lives, including toilet training skills. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Smart ABA (Smart Applied Behavior Analysis) Method on the toilet training ability of ASD children. Smart ABA is a development of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This study uses an experimental method with a single research subject design and data analysis using visual graphs. The subjects of this study are two children with ASD, a boy aged 5 years and 7 years. The parents of the subjects were included in this study. The Smart ABA therapists who trained the subjects in this study have fulfilled their competencies as Smart ABA therapists. The most important finding of this study was the success of both subjects in daytime toilet training within 43 to 67 days. These findings show the effectiveness of the Smart ABA method in achieving independence in toilet skills for ASD children. The results of this study will provide an in-depth understanding for parents of children with ASD, therapists, professionals, and doctors in the management of toilet training. The results of this study make an important scientific contribution to independent toilet skills in children with ASD. The stages of self-toilet skills using Smart ABA are discussed.</div>

<div> <p>Cyberbullying has become a serious threat to the mental health of adolescents in the digital era. Its impacts include depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and the risk of deviant behavior. A counseling approach based on the values of the Qur'an offers an alternative solution to address these issues through Islamic principles such as compassion (rahmah), wisdom (hikmah), and counsel (mau‘izhah). This study aims to analyze the role of integrating Qur'anic values in counseling to enhance the mental health of adolescents who are victims of cyberbullying. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with literature study and phenomenological analysis of relevant Qur'anic verses and the literature on mental health in Islam. The findings indicate that a Qur'an-based counseling approach can help adolescents develop resilience, cope with emotional stress, and build a strong Islamic identity. Therefore, this approach can serve as a practical guide for Islamic counselors in addressing the mental health issues of adolescents.</p> </div>

https://rap.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/rap/article/view/68
<div>This study examined the impact of reciprocal peer tutoring and multisystemic therapy on reducing offending behaviour in out-of-school adolescents at motor parks in Ogun State, Nigeria. Focusing on peer influence and self-control as moderating variables, the research employed a multistage sampling technique to select participants from three motor parks across different senatorial districts. The study adopted a pre-test-post-test control group quasi-experimental design, with a 3x3x3 factorial matrix involving two experimental groups and one control group. A multistage sampling technique was employed to select 89 out-of-school adolescents from three major motor parks. The treatment lasted eight weeks in which the participants were randomly assigned into two experimental conditions (reciprocal peer tutoring and multisytremic), while the control group received no treatment. The findings revealed a significant main effect of the treatments on reduction of offending behaviour. The moderators, peer influence and self-control also significantly influenced the effectiveness of the treatment. It is concluded that reciprocal peer tutoring and multisystemic therapy are effective in the reduction of offending behaviour among out-of-school adolescents. Peer influence and self-control were also identified as effective. These findings hold significant implications for counselling practice and policies as it relates to offending behaviour of out-of-school adolescents in Nigeria.</div>

<div> <p><em>The adolescent phase is a vulnerable period in human life because it is a transition period from childhood to adulthood. In this phase, good subjective well-being is needed so that adolescents can fulfill their developmental tasks. One of the efforts to fulfill subjective well-being is through adolescent eudaimonic activities that refer to three components of basic psychological needs, namely the need to be independent, the need to be competent and the need to connect with others. The purpose of this study is to analyze eudaimonic activities that meet the three components of basic psychological needs and subjective well-being. This study used a concurrent mixed method approach with four qualitative questions and the SPANE and BPNFS scales. The results showed there were 21 eudaimonic activities grouped into six activity categories, namely physical activities, entertainment, skills, spiritual, learning and favorite habits. This study recommends further research with explorative methods and a larger sample size. As an implication for adolescent life, parents or families can study eudaimonic activities in adolescents so that the approach and supervision given to adolescents becomes more appropriate.</em></p> </div>

https://rap.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/rap/article/view/64
<div>This quasi-qualitative study explored the concerns, barriers, and impacts of implementing Inclusive Education (IE) in elementary schools in Sumatra and Java, Indonesia. Despite the Indonesian government's mandate to implement IE through Ministry of Education Act No. 70 of 2009, various challenges hinder its effective implementation. A survey and semi-structured interviews were conducted with 25 elementary school teachers to gain insight into their experiences and perceptions of IE. The findings suggest that teachers often lack confidence in employing inclusive strategies because of limited knowledge and large class sizes, highlighting the need for ongoing professional development. Additionally, while there is evidence of positive attitudes towards special educational needs (SEN) students among peers and parents, teachers may not fully embrace IE. This study aims to provide a thorough assessment of IE strategies employed in Indonesian elementary schools by analyzing key factors and offering recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of IE for both students and teachers. These findings will inform policymakers, educators, and stakeholders about the current state of IE and the necessary steps to improve it, ultimately contributing to the development of a more inclusive and equitable education system in Indonesia.</div>

https://rap.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/rap/article/view/62
<div>Personality traits and organizational support as predictors of work-life balance among shoprite workers. Work-life balance has become an emerging issue where bothorganization and employees tend to benefit. However no consistent results have been obtained using different predictors. Therefore, this study investigated personality traits and organizational support as predictors of work-life balance among workers in Shoprite in Ibadan metropolis. The study adopted a cross-sectional survey design while purposive sampling technique was used to select one superstore: Shoprite in Ibadan. Data were collected from 200 participants using three validated scales and analyzed using t-test of independent samples and multiple regressions analysis. Three hypotheses were tested and accepted at a p < 0.05 level of significance. The result indicated that perceived organizational support significantly influenced work-life balance [t (198) = 2.12, p <..05] among study participants. Also, the result revealed that personality traits of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism and openness to experience jointly predicted work-life balance among workers (R2 = 0.04, F (5, 191) = 1.64, p < 0.05). Furthermore, personality traits and organizational support jointly predicted work-life balance among study participants (R2 = 0.08, F (6,190) = 2.89, p < 0.05). However, only perceived organizational support independently predicted work-life balance. The study concluded that personality traits and organizational support are good predictors of work-life balance among study participants. It is recommended that workers should learn self-and time-management techniques to achieve maximum</div>

https://rap.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/rap/article/view/61

https://rap.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/rap/article/view/59
<div>Social well-being is a part of subjective well-being used to measure mental health as a measurement of mental health, which is an indicator of quality of life. People can achieve social well-being when they have a good and deep quality relationship with others. However, people use technology almost daily, impairing their social well-being. Moreover, they also tend to do cyberloafing, which makes them spend more time on their gadget. This project's principal objective was to investigate cyberloafing's effect on cognitive absorption and social well-being. A quantitative method using three questionnaires (cognitive absorption scale, cyberloafing questionnaire, and social well-being) involving 178 respondents was employed. The data was analyzed using Mediation Analysis in JASP software. The findings indicated a partial mediation in cyberloafing on the relationship between cognitive absorption and cyberloafing.</div>

<div> <p><em>The adaptation of the Attitudes Toward Voluntary Childlessness Scale is a useful measurement tool for assessing aspects related to being childfree, such as families who do not wish to have children, the necessity of children for a family to be happy/meaningful, and whether society supports individuals' choices not to have children. The adaptation of the Attitudes Toward Voluntary Childlessness Scale is essential because there is no suitable measurement tool in Indonesian to accurately measure the concept of being childfree, especially in the context of families who choose not to have children. This measurement tool consists of 24 items and has undergone six stages of adaptation following cross-cultural adaptation guidelines. Through testing on 50 adults in Indonesia, a reliability coefficient of 0.906 was obtained to measure indicators related to individuals who do not have children, the necessity of children for a family to be happy/meaningful, and whether society supports individuals' choices not to have children. Therefore, the adapted Attitudes Toward Voluntary Childlessness Scale can be used in future research to predict various variables related to the concept of being childfree in Indonesia.</em></p> </div>

<div> <p>The short version Grit-Scale was validated in Indonesia when 2019 by testing internal validity using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) only on the sampled instrument. Suppose an instrument test is only focused on testing internal validity. In that case, it is inevitable that the research only meets the slight evidence of instrument validity recommended by institutions recognized by the science of Education and Psychology. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Indonesian version of Grit-S by combining two validity methods, namely internal and external validity testing. The research participants consisted of 450 students from various universities and faculties in Indonesia, aged 17 to 25 years, which were obtained by convenience sampling. The findings in this study prove that the Indonesian version of Grit-S is a reliable instrument, the excellent factor structure is the two-factor model, it meets the criteria of external validity where the Indonesian version of Grit-S converges when tested with self-esteem and life satisfaction scales, as well as all the Indonesian version of Grit-S items does not indicate gender bias. The Indonesian version of Grit-S is very feasible and allows it to be used for research in the fields of Education and Psychology in Indonesia</p> </div>

<div><em>The </em><em>s</em><em>troop task is a method of measuring selective attention that demonstrates automatic and controlled cognitive processes. The </em><em>s</em><em>troop task as a digitalized measuring tool makes it easier for users to administer and score efficiently. However, this digital stroop task is not yet available in the Indonesian version. Meanwhile, the use of English has not been fully mastered by layers of Indonesian society, which causes the risk of less than optimal test results. This research is a non-experimental quantitative research which aims to test the psychometric properties using a test-retest approach at a time interval of 7 days on the Indonesian language Stroop task measuring instrument in early adult individuals with the criteria of being 18-25 years old and not color blind. The reliability test was analyzed using the ICC formula and strengthened with the Cronbach's alpha internal consistency test. The results of research conducted on 170 respondents using accidental sampling showed good ICC coefficient results (r = 0.87, 95% confidence interval (CI), 0.64, 0.93) and a Cronbach alpha coefficient of (α = 0.93). Thus, the </em><em>stroop task in Indonesian</em><em> has satisfactory psychometric properties and is suitable for use in the Indonesian population.</em></div>
